Dr. Patel is Board Certified and Fellowship Trained in Hand Surgery. He attended medical school at the Baylor College of Medicine, then completed a fellowship at the hand center of San Antonio. He furthered his education by completing his residency and internship at UCLA. He is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in upper extremity surgery including hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. Additionally, he has extensive experience in trauma and personal injury care.
Dr. Manish Patel is currently a partner at Family Hospital and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at The University of Texas Medical Branch.
He is an active consultant with global medical device company, Arthrex, assisting with product development and surgeon training. Dr. Patel is happily married and has three beautiful daughters who also keep him busy. He loves to cook, spend time with friends and family, and play golf.
