Michelle Bender, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. With more than 30 years of nursing experience, she specializes in pediatrics and has developed extensive expertise in the field. Additionally, Savannah Andres serves as the Physician Assistant and Advanced Practice Nurse for the Dell Medical School Department of Pediatrics at The University of Texas at Austin. Michelle Bender earned both her bachelor’s degree, graduating summa cum laude, and master’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. She also earned a diploma in nursing from Medicine Hat College Nursing in Alberta, Canada. Michelle Bender’s clinical interests include adult congenital heart disease. She is an active member of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Association.
